Set in a world where competitive tank warfare, known as senshadou, is practiced as a refined sport for women, this series centers on Miho Nishizumi, a skilled but reluctant tanker carrying the weight of her prestigious family name. After transferring to Ooarai Girls Academy to escape the sport, she finds herself back in the commander's seat when the school resurrects its dormant program to compete in an upcoming national championship. The story balances found friendship and personal reconciliation with the rumble of WWII-era tanks across some charmingly distinct school and town settings.
